Sometimes the water is calm and a perfect mirror image is projected onto the flat surface of a lake or river. 
Other times the distortion in the reflection is such that it masks the true identify of its subject.
Is a reflection a type of shadow? Is it a naturally occuring mirror?
Perhaps is it a reminder that as we step forward in life we leave an impression that sometimes lasts longer than our actual visit.
May we always be careful that the image we leave behind is one that we would choose to see were we to travel the same path anew.
